Held annually at Mt. Hood Community College, the Portland Highland Games is a family-friendly celebration of Scottish and Celtic heritage. I worked with fellow art director Holly Schnackenberg to create a campaign intended to promote the traditions of the Games and enlighten Portlanders who are unfamiliar with the event.
The first part of our campaign is a series of event posters that would hang throughout the community to create awareness and defeat preconceived notions about the Games. Click to download full PDFs:
In the weeks leading up to the event, streets throughout the city would feature streetlight banners to promote the Games. Click to download full PDFs:
During the event, attendees would receive a brand book meant to convey the rich history of the Games and provide helpful details about each competition.
