Cyclonix

As a visual strategist at Cyclonix, I was tasked with refreshing the agency’s brand and redesigning its online presence. In an effort to explore new platforms and avoid the investment associated with a custom-designed site, I opted to house our entire website on Pinterest. A landing page allows visitors to link directly to the Pinterest site from Cyclonix.com.

In an article on Fueling Ad Agency New Business, industry consultant Michael Gass showed his support for the move:

Cyclonix, Inc., a design boutique agency, has moved their website to Pinterest. The site is a work in progress, but give them credit for exploring and experimenting while most agencies are still sitting for the bench waiting on others to do the innovating.

See additional images of the site below, or visit Pinterest for a closer look.

Whimsical illustrations provide visual support in the site’s “about” section.

Pinning portfolio work encourages followers to share and distribute recent projects through likes and repins.

Partner logos link directly to client websites. Outbound clicks open in new tabs, allowing users to easily navigate back to the Cyclonix site.

The site’s visual nature allows for a vivid and easily updated studio tour.

The news section links to pertinent press releases and relevant articles, while captions contribute to SEO efforts across the site.

Contact images link directly to Google Maps, Twitter and Facebook.
